… Scotland in 1971. She trained as a classical violinist and has played with the Scottish National Orchestra and BBC Scottish Symphony Orchestra.
She took up painting when her children were grown up and has been painting enthusiastically ever since. She paints in oils and gains her inspiration from the Scottish landscape, particularly from around her home near Loch Lomond. She paints and travels with a group of artists based in Stirlingshire and is a member of The Glasgow Society of Women Artists.
Julie has exhibited in Glasgow, central Scotland and London and her works can be found in private collections around the country. She has exhibited successfully with Carina Haslam Art at the “The Affordable Art Show” in London over the last few years.
